FAQs
Can I repair a leaking roof without replacing it completely?
Yes, in many cases your roof does not need to be replaced entirely. KPP Roofing will come to assess the damage and recommend the best course of action, in the most cost-effective way.
How can I prevent the risk of future roof damage?
The best way to try and prevent future roof damage, is to keep on top of your roof maintenance. Examples of this are; regular gutter cleaning, ensuring you have no broken tiles and ensuring there are no overhanging trees, where possible. The most important thing you can do, is to ensure you get any issues sorted no matter how big or small, so that they do not escalate further.
How long does it take to install a new roof?
The time it takes to install a new roof depends entirely on the size of your home and the types of materials that are used. Most projects take anything between a few days to a week. We will ensure to get the job done as quickly as possible, whilst maintaining the highest quality of work.
Is scaffolding a ‘must’ with every roofing job?
Absolutely not! A common misconception is that roofing works will always require scaffolding for the roofers to use. This is not the case at all and we will only use scaffolding if we deem it absolutely necessary.
How do I know whether I need a completely new roof installed?
There will be several signs to indicate that you need a new roof. Tiles and cement will begin to perish, battens will begin to rot and give way, and felt will no longer be sustainable or water-tight.
